Our Story

Why the name "Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church"?

We worship the Triune God (Father, Son, Holy Spirit). It is that name into which we are baptized. Our Lord has revealed Himself as the Father who created us, the Son who saved us and the Holy Spirit who makes us holy.

This term means “loyal to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.” Our congregation is faithful to the Good News that Jesus has suffered, died and risen to forgive all people.

Martin Luther was a reformer who called upon the Church to return to the clear teaching of the Gospel proclaimed by the early Church. He stressed that we are saved by faith alone not our works. This is by grace alone it arises out of God’s undeserved love for us. Our knowledge of God and salvation is based on the Scriptures alone.

The church is the body of Christ. It is made up of those who believe that Jesus suffered, died and rose so that they will live with Him forever in heaven.
